During spring break more than half of all men and more than 40 percent of all women drank until they became sick or passed out at least once according to the Journal of American College Health, May 1998. Every year the migration to Panama City Beach for spring break becomes more and more of a ritual for many college aged individuals as well as the excessive drinking and partying .
