Amar and Salih, cousins of the bride, dance following the wedding ceremony of Amera and Samir. Several hundred from the Yazidi community turned out for an afternoon and evening of celebration; at the end of the night all of the guests returned to the tents they have called home for the past four years. Each of the nearly 9,000 individuals who live in the camp are displaced Yazidis from Sinjar and have been living in the camp since the August 2014 ISIS siege that left thousands dead, thousands captured and that still today leaves tens of thousands unable to return to their homes.
