Sophie was born with tiny eyes, an eye condition, which means that she has always had impaired vision. Seven to eight years ago, her vision began to deteriorate drastically, and it has only gone downhill since.
Today, Sophie is 29 years old and she has 2% vision in one eye and no vision in the other. Sophie is trying to navigate life on the brink of blindness, while doctors cannot tell her how long she will have her remaining vision. In a life filled with adversity, she finds comfort in her helpful guide dog, Fellow.
