Jackson and Elijah grew up as childhood friends in a small village in northern Zambia. Together, they ran away from home, ended up on the streets, and took the train to the capital, Lusaka. There, they lived side by side, sleeping rough and protecting each other like brothers for about six years. Eventually, both found their way to Nsansa, where they still live together today.
