I do this because I love doing this." Most residents refer to themselves as 'weekend farmers' and choose live in Shade because the surrounding serene beauty gives them the opportunity to reconnect with the land and to soak in the outdoor lifestyle while living an urban setting. There are very few farms left, but most residents in Shade grew up in farms, or have spent time on farms.
