The Burry Man, Chris Nicol, is escorted so that he is able to endure the long day of drinking. A woman in South Queensferry pokes her head out her door with change in her hand to donate to the Burry Man. The Burry Man is a traditional Pagan ceremony held every year on the second Friday of August in South.
