Brody Spears waits in the back of a car after swimming in an abandoned coal mining pit in Drakes, Ohio on August 5, 2010. Spears, a Glouster resident, went swimming with his older sister and her friends. The mining pit is the only thing left to identify the southeastern Ohio ghost town.
