Jack came to Canaan Township as a child because his parents wanted to return to their hometown. He later served in the military as an airplane mechanic, based in Dayton, Ohio. "I flew all over the world," said Jack said. After twenty years of service, he retired and moved back to Canaan Township, bringing along with his wife and two children.
