People play soccer at Piquia da Conquista, a new settlement neighborhood in construction to relocate the residents from Piquia de Baixo. The construction is previewed to be done by 2022 and is all commanded by the local association of residents, in partnership with Brazil's state bank Caixa Econômica. Piquia de Baixo is one of the most affected communities by the Carajas Railroad. Around the neighborhood, there are more than 5 steel mills, the access to clear water is very hard and the biggest train in the world passes there, cracking many of the houses.
