CPOY 77 Documentary Photographic Project Finalist: Means of Good
A long-form narrative picture story or photographic essay that may span multiple years and portrays important contemporary concerns or social issues. To encourage long-term projects, images from previous years' work may be included, provided none of them have previously won a CPOY award. Half of the photographs in the entry must have been taken between August 23, 2021 and August 22, 2022.

Every week Avik goes to the swimming pool at Vyatka State University. Its students, who are going to become social work specialists, volunteer there as practical training. They help children with different disabilities to learn how to swim, to dive, to play and not to be scared of water. Avik is very much fond of swimming and feels himself in his element.
