Iowa women's basketball guard Caitlin Clark has always been a star. Clark entered college as a five-star recruit with two state records. After four years with the Hawkeyes, Clark became the NCAA's men's and women's all-time leading scorer, has amassed several awards and honors, and was selected by the Indiana Fever as the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft. With her growing fame around the world, fans are selling out every arena she plays in. But, with the growth of women’s basketball comes a media craze and constant expectations. Still, Clark is grateful for the opportunity to inspire a younger generation.

The Hawkeyes defeated the Corn Huskers in overtime, 94-89. After her final season at Iowa, she was selected by the Indiana Fever as the No. 1 overall pick in the WNBA Draft. “Being where I am now, I would tell my younger self, ‘You worked hard for this moment. You earned this moment. It was never given to you,’” Clark said in a video posted on X by IowaWBB.
