Shawn Lone Wolf Grant, a 51-year-old Cherokee, stops to dance as a passing car honks repeatedly at him as he walks home from a day of performing alongside the main commercial road of Cherokee, North Carolina. Grant was born and raised on the nearby reservation, he's performed on the sides of streets in Cherokee since he was six-years-old. His grandfather traveled with the Buffalo Bill Wild West Show. “Any native can dance on this stage and people will come to watch, we give them what we got," Grant said.
