"The kid who said he was his brother was picking up cash while I'm holding his brothers hand while he's lying in a puddle of water," said Vincent David Johnson. Two teen boys were shot in front of the house where Johnson lives, one fatally. Johnson said he was about to go to bed when he heard what he thought was a tree branch cracking in the thunderstorm, but were actually gunshots. Johnson said he went outside to see two boys shot, one lying in the street unable to speak, gasping on the pavement. Johnson said he then called 911, and held the boys hand before he died. The boy was 17-years-old and died there in the street, and the other was a 15-year-old and was taken to the hospital. The shooting took place in the 600 block of East 50th Place on June 30, 2014.
