Squatting in Denmark is not easy The government are rough towards the activists - no places stay squatted for long. “If the squat is to small, the police will clear it immediately. If it’s big, and people are seeing us, they won’t come in the same way. We need to get people from outside the community to sympathise. It’s all about making it big enough,” Felix says.
