Hot temperatures the weekend of July 8th drove hundreds of families and thrill seekers to Quarry Park and Nature Preserve in Waite Park, MN. There are multiple quarries throughout the park varying in depth. Quarry number two is the most popular as the depth reaches beyond 100 feet deep in some sections, perfect for cliff jumping. Signs around the park simply warn people to swim and jump at their own risk as their is no life guard on duty. But according to various people who frequent the area, "the only limit is how stupid you are." In this image, a thrill seeker dives off the highest cliff in the quarry.
