Nathan DeSutter, a media producer within the St. Bonaventure University athletic department, is restrained by a University of Dayton Arena security guard on the court following SBU’s Atlantic 10 championship win in Dayton, Ohio on March 14, 2021. Members of the St. Bonaventure men’s basketball team paused their championship celebration when they noticed the guard restraining DeSutter. The Atlantic 10’s investigation of the incident determined that it was “an unfortunate misunderstanding of access,” as DeSutter was allowed to be on the court to document the celebrations, but security guards were told to keep media members in designated parts of the arena, per COVID-19 protocol.
