The living room wall of Aline, 32, a single mother living on the outskirts of Porto Seguro, Brazil, features a photograph from when she was 16 and the day her first baby was born. Aline has two children: a 14-year-old daughter with Down syndrome and a 7-year-old son with autism and epilepsy. She will begin courses soon.
