Outside Andreia’s (21) house in the neighborhood of Villa Vittoria, Porto Seguro, Brazil, her 1-year-old daughter’s doll sits on the windowsill. Andreia has three children, the oldest being 7 and the middle child 5. The family has no electricity or running water, and Andreia is currently a client at Mães Unidas.
