CPOY 79 Multimedia: Documentary Short
A single, short documentary film with extended run time of roughly 8 to 30 minutes that uses more than one form of reporting (still image, video, audio) in pursuit of enriching and enhancing the understanding of the subject. This is not open to a collection of stories or multi-chaptered websites. Documentary storytelling is grounded in truth, and docu-dramas, re-enactments, or television news reports are not allowed.
Award of Excellence: Push Start
The twins Karl and Thomas have just entered their teenage years and are impatiently waiting to turn 15, so they can get a driver's license, like their other friends on the Island Fur. While dreaming about the Puch Maxi or Derbi Senda they will soon buy, they make reparations their broken scooter and test-drive it in the fields behind their parents' house. They are still children for a while, but adulthood is just around the corner.
