Garrett, 12, born with EB Epidermolysis Bullosa, a genetic skin disease that leaves his skin blistered and broken down from the slightest friction or bump, plays basketball with his brother in from of their house. Garrett loves basketball, it is his passion. Normally playing inside with a nerf ball, Garrett took the opportunity to play with a real ball outside. His mom added a couple layers of bandaging to his fingers, so he could handle the rough ball. He would pay dearly for his 10 minutes of fun in the form of extreme blistering on the bottom of his feet, and hands.
