Garrett's bandages must be changed three times a week. Part of the process is having Garrett soak in the jacuzzi for 30-minutes. This helps soften the bandages, and make them easier and less painful to remove. Garrett needs help standing on his own after the soak. The padding that normally cushions the bottom of his feet has been removed to make soaking easier leaving only a small layer of guaze between his skin the concrete.
