Logan Musgrave hugged his mother, Chrissy Shelton, as she began to cry after running into his arms Dec. 21 at Evansville Regional Airport when he returned home for the first time since he left for boot camp in Missouri in August. “I’m just so happy he’s home,” she said. “It was hard not having him here. I wanted to see him, talk to him or just hear his voice. I only got that once a week, if I was lucky. I’ve been ready for him to come home since the day he left.”
