They wear their religion like a badge of honor, a cross atop the highest hill. No God shall say "You hid your love of Me, you did not love Me like my Son who I commanded to die for thee." This is their public cross to bear, their nail-to-wood salvation, their answer to the temptations of a life lived cheaply.
