The residential jungle scape at night brought me to a father who prays for health and happiness for his baby boy. Two years ago, he chose sobriety—like my uncle never could—and he says—like I fervently believe—that the bad will always come with the good. “When I cried, I cried alone. I decided that I was done crying alone.”
