A dive team pulls a man from the Red River between Fargo, ND, and Moorhead, MN, on July 6, 2018. The man held a small dog, was threatening to walk into the river with it, and was not responding to emergency personnel trying to talk him back on shore. The man continued to yell for help from other passers-by but fought against his rescuers. Once safely ashore, the man cooperated more readily with EMTs and other first responders.
