In mid-October, Linda and Kaj Christensen, as some of the first mink breeders, had to kill their healthy mink population. This was due to the government's decision that all mink within a radius of 7.8 kilometers from a corona - infected mink farm near the area of Gjøl in North Jutland should be slaughtered. On the farm, they were responsible for the killing together with the helper Gert Nielsen. For 20 years, mink breeding had been their livelihood.
