In total, there are about 140 dogs in the shelter as of 2022. There have been times when they’ve been as many as 250. The dogs are distributed in different zones. Most live in groups of 30-40 in the area around the house. Others alone or in pairs in the spacious enclosures of the stable and near it. The former arena, formerly strewn with sand, has also become a place for walking dogs.
