Elementary school students in Romang Tangayya hamlet in Makassar City have to cross a 2km lake every day to get to their school. Armed with a small wooden boat, they dare to go to school because the only access to get there is through the lake. Although this hamlet is located near the city center, the disparity in the right to education is still very much present.
