    Reed

    Slaughter

Brett Slaughter (Web Administrator): Brett Slaughter graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism's Photojournalism sequence in May 2005. He is a self-taught web programmer, learning Internet technologies and programming during his time at the University of Missouri. Since graduating, he has recognized that his talents as a nerd outweighed his talents as a photojournalist, and as a result has given up photojournalism in favor of pursuing a career in Information Technology, Systems Administration, and Web Development and Programming. Not one to easily forget his roots, he continues to devote a portion of his time to contribute to the continuing mission of the College Photographer of the Year program and bringing the contest experience to the web. He has been responsible for maintaining this website since 2003.

    Gibbons

Ryan Gibbons (Asst. Web Administrator): Ryan Gibbons is currently a photojournalism student at The University of Missouri at Columbia. As a self-proclaimed "gear-head," Ryan is currently exploring new mediums for displaying photographic work-from bilingual web design to audio slideshows and video. But don't put it past him to be the winning bidder of yet another old film camera on eBay. Most recently Ryan has assisted with the complete redesign of the cpoy.org website.
