This work proposes to look at the voids that were dug both in the earth, from mining, and in the people from Carajas, who carry in their bodies and memory alternative versions of the unique history, the one that prevails in the museums, streets and squares of the region. I also try to investigate how myths and syncretisms are instruments of subversion to the status quo, understanding the intersections between culture, dependence and exploitation.
