Isabella is a first-year graduate student at the University of Missouri School of Journalism, pursuing her master’s degree. She also completed her bachelor’s in Film Studies with a minor in Theatre. Originally from Brazil and raised in Bulgaria, she brought a diverse cultural perspective to her own work. A former member of Mizzou’s track and field team, she held the University of Missouri indoor school record in the 60 meter hurdles in 2023. Isabella balances her passion for athletics with her dedication to visual storytelling. She also worked at Rhynsburger Theatre as a light board operator and was inspired to pursue Film and Theatre studies because of her professional work as a model and actor. Her work spans action photography, documentary filmmaking, and creative projects that highlight diminished voices and communities.
