Bailey Stover is a multimedia journalist who has developed visual, textual and audio storytelling skills so that she can create meaningful documentary pieces in both English and Spanish.
A recent graduate from the Missouri School of Journalism, Bailey is enterprising and constantly wants to learn more about the world around her. Simultaneously, she strives to listen empathetically, engage in people-oriented reporting and draw out the threads of humanity that connect us all.
While she's comfortable telling all kinds of stories, she is most drawn to nuanced social justice issues including homophobia, racism, sexism and environmental injustice. Her journalistic passion lies in sharing the stories of historically marginalized and underrepresented groups. She hopes her work inspires difficult but necessary conversations about power, privilege and humanity’s unwavering perseverance in the face of malicious inequality. When not reporting, she enjoys traveling, playing volleyball and spending time in nature.
