College Photographer of the Year 78 is organized by a team of CPOY Coordinators, dedicated student staff, Archivist and Directors. Additionally, approximately 50 volunteers work behind the scenes to support the staff and judges during judging week.
Caroline is a second-year graduate student at the University of Missouri with a specialization in photojournalism and editing. After receiving degrees in Journalism and Global & International Studies at the University of Kansas in 2022, she decided to pursue photojournalism professionally. Born and raised in Arkansas, her love for photography stemmed from the Ozark wilderness and small-town life. Currently working as a staff photographer and photo editor for the Columbia Missourian, her work ranges from topics concerning Columbia's unhoused population to documenting the cultures of small towns along the Missouri River. This is Caroline's second year as CPOY's Webmaster.
